I have just returned from working a music festival called Sunrise Celebration in the lovely county of Somerset (UK) we were ther for a week, though the festival its self was only open to the public from mid day thursday and closed late sunday night. I was working myself in the box office, which i do normaly, but this year i had to deal with no general public WOOP WOOP instead i was dealing with crew, traders and the artists. it was an appsolutely wonderful one this year briliant weather, i got sunburn through factor 50 sun cream, there was all sorts of things going on there, 6 stages with all sorts of great music (ok some crap too but hey) there were talks and workshops, stalls with a great array of wonders to behold, solar showers, saunas, hot tubs, all sorts of healing and massage type things, cinemas, some lovely food of all kinds of origins, one of the funiest moments (there were so many but this one i will never forget) there was a tibetan lama who was there to give talks and workshops, one of the days while in the box office he came wandering down to see what was about, we were playing Ramstein on the stereo we had there and the lama liked it so much he started dancing outside the office, he was in his yellow and orange robes and everything alas my camera was in my tent so could not get a pic of it
but it was bloody brillient any way and he was a really nice chap, as you would expect a tibetan lama to be i guess
its was such an amazing week full of very lovely people, great music and all sorts, its a festival that prides itself on being a green festival its entirely done with sustainable energy. now i cant put any pics in this journal as im not a fully pledge member (yet) (keep meaning to join lol) so i shall just pop up a few as normal deviations. i have been back for 2 days now and still feel a bit dazed and yurn to be back in that field with so much happiness arround me, alas im back to deal with the shit life is dealing me at the moment. ho hum.
